Please note that I make every attempt to return calls during business hours the day you call. However, if you are a new client and need to speak with a mental health specialist immediately, use the resources provided below. If you or your child are currently in crisis, please seek help immediately. Do not wait for an appointment if you have concerns about your safety or the safety of your family.
If you would like to learn more about how to cope with your child’s mental health crisis, please follow this link from NAMI. If you are in immediate danger, please call 9-1-1 or go to your local emergency room right away. If you are in crisis and a resident of Connecticut and would benefit from talking to someone by phone, please call 2-1-1. There are mobile crisis teams available for both children and adults. If you are a resident of Maine and in crisis you can reach the crisis line by dialing 888-568-1112 and letting the dispatcher know it is a mental health crisis.
